Michael Roach's images are expressive, well-planned, emotional, and deliberately beautiful. Images can be all of these things. In learning the nuances of the digital camera, he has realized that many factors play a role in the camera's true output.

Michael found that the following subjects became the focal point of his lens such as: events, architecture, business and industry, family, commerce, night-life, urban decay, and our nation's city streets. He has made a shift from capturing practical images to stating a creative expression. His recent book, Street Photography of New York's Capital Region, published in 2007 shows his passion for creating interesting images with the help of a fascinating envrionment.
